NEET PG 2013
NEET PG is a Qualifying cum Ranking Examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses
For MDS (Dental) Admissions, AIIMS will be conducting the All India Entrance Exam
NEET PG will be a Computer Based Test (CBT)
Testing Window -23rd Nov to 6th Dec, 2012 (with 24th, 25th, 28th Nov and 2nd Dec as non-testing days)
Candidates have the option of choosing their examination centre, date and time through the online registration & scheduling system.
• MCQ based with single correct response
• Number of Questions — 240
• Exam in 2 Sessions (3 hours each)
• There shall be no negative marking.
Candidates who are completing their internship AFTER 31st March 2013 or LIKELY TO COMPLETE AFTER 31st March 2013 need not apply in the NEET-PG exam as they shall be ineligible to participate at any stage of the admission process.

• MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate
• Completed one year of internship or likely to complete the internship on or before 31st March 2013
QUALIFYING CRITERIA — For General Candidates the Passing Criteria is 50 Percentile, for SC/ST/OBC it is 40 Percentile and for PWD it 45 Percentile
VALIDITY OF NEET-PG RESULT – only for the current admission session
DECLARATION OF RESULT – The results for NEET shall be declared by 31st January.
Allocation of seats — as per PGME Regulations
Reservation of seats in medical colleges as per applicable laws prevailing in States/Union Territories
Only Candidates with Minimum Percentile as specified above will be considered
Institutes not Covered
Medical institutions that are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS/PG Diploma seats through NEET are: –
• AIIMS, New Delhi
• PGIMER, Chandigarh
• JIPMER, Pondicherry or
• Such Institutions as may be notified by MoHFW, Govt. of India.
